Diversitat Youth Services is committed to empowering young people from across the Greater Geelong region.
Through education and training, employment services, mentoring and support, the priority of Diversitat Youth Services is to provide young people with opportunities to pursue their personal and professional goals and interests.
Diversitat Youth Services runs several youth-specific programs including the regions only dedicated Job Network Youth Employment Program, SWEET (Success With Education, Employment and Training), the Indigenous Youth Employment Consultant Program (IYEC) and Enviro-Youth. Also on offer are a range of vocational ‘taster’ programs for students considering careers in Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Automotive and Conservation & Land Management.
Diversitat Youth Services offers counseling and personal support services through the Youth Contact Officer. Young people can access help with a range of personal and job-related coaching via the Youth Contact Officer.
Diversitat Youth Services is laying groundwork to build positive links with young people and the broader community. By embracing, engaging, enhancing, and empowering every last young person who comes through its doors, Diversitat Youth Services is striving to hold good its promise "to leave no young person behind”.
