Christie – Youth Education Manager
Christie is highly experienced in working with students with low literacy levels.  She is a qualified teacher and is passionate in helping young people reach their full potential and achieve success in literacy.

Shelley – Youth Education Manager (currently on leave)
Shelley is a Primary and Secondary teacher with further qualifications in Fine Art and Textiles.  She is dedicated to providing a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages young people to flourish.

Stephanie –Welfare Support Coordinator

Stephanie’s role within the team is to provide support,  information and/or counselling for students who may experience difficulties within their life that impact upon their ability to attend and participate within the program.

Barry – Community Placements Coordinator & Trainer
Barry is an ex-mechanic with a passion for helping young people find pathways to further education and sustainable employment.  His interests include motorcycles, old cars and collectables. He is petrified of catching Blue tooth so does not own a mobile phone.

David – Sport, Literacy & Personal Development Teacher
David a qualified teacher who is interested in health and local issues for young people.  He also is interested in encouraging young people to concentrate on their own strengths and personal interests when they are thinking about and deciding on their chosen work, career or educational goals.

Greg – Numeracy & Work Related Skills Trainer
Greg is interested in exploring ICT learning and getting out into the community so that young people have a voice.  He also enjoys Wagnerian opera, word-search, and warm treacle therapies. His ambition is one day to learn the meaning of the abbreviation ICT.

Helen – Numeracy Teacher
Helen is a qualified and experienced teacher who shares her workload between us and a local Secondary College.  Helen is excellent at helping young people to develop confidence with basic and advanced mathematics.

Mike – Art and VCAL Trainer
Mike delivers VCAL and CGEA units to student enrolled in the SWEET and Xpress programs. Mike has undertaken mural art projects and creative art using recycled products.

Narelle – Art, Literacy and Personal Development Teacher
Narelle is a qualified primary and secondary teacher with a fine Art degree. She enjoys working with young people and helping them to re-establish connections with either education or career pathways.

Helen F – Vocational Preparation Trainer
Helen is a qualified and experienced Career counsellor and trainer. She is highly experienced in working with young people in the region, particularly in a school setting. Helen has a passion for seeing all young people reach their full potential.

Michelle – Literacy Teacher
Michelle is a qualified secondary Teacher and Youth Worker. She is passionate in supporting young people and believes that all students should be provided with the opportunity to improve their education.

Deb – Student Intake and Database Coordinator
Deb works hard to maintain our student database, conduct intake interviews and ensure all students are enrolled in correct courses and units through our national and state reporting systems.

Sue – Youth Services Administrator
Sue works part-time in Youth Education to take appointments and is our administration saviour - assisting the teachers and trainers.
