GMEC offers nationally-accredited and vocational training in the areas of music, sound, screen and broadcast delivered by Diversitat Training, in central Geelong.

The Centre is home to state-of-the-art Training Rooms, an impressive Mac Lab for mixing and editing, and a fully equipped Television Studio with cameras, lighting and sound recording facilities.

In addition, it boasts an audio production studio equipped with up to 96 channels of digital mixdown via a Yamaha DM-2000 dual purpose mixing console/control surface. Multi platform hosts including Pro Tools HD-8, Cubase-5 & Bios Peak Pro. SSL, Waves & Native Instruments plug-ins along with a good selection of professional studio microphones and high end outboard processors including tube pre-amps, dynamics processors, equilisation and effects units. Event & Genelec monitoring in a pristinely treated control room combined with a small dead recording space and a live recording space large enough to accommodate an orchestra.

GMEC Studios also offers commercial facilities; a fully-serviced production house for the creation of corporate and community television, music and radio projects and promotions.
