This nationally accredited course will develop the required knowledge and skills required to work in residential facilities and/or community agencies and day centres and work under professional supervision within defined organisation guidelines or as sole practitioners. You will learn how to design, implement and evaluate health and leisure activities for clients in one or more sectors. You may be responsible for other workers.
These programs allow social and therapeutic intervention for people who attend community based planned activity group programs, or live in residential care.
This qualification is designed for people who are currently working or who want to work in the area of leisure and health.
Job Pathways On completion of this course, graduates can pursue many career opportunities, they may include:
