Diploma of Community Services Work
Community Services Work

This course is for those currently working within the Community Services sector for a minimum
of 12 months. You can fast track a qualification in the Diploma of Community Services Work by gaining
recognition of your current skills and knowledge in selected Units. As a graduate, you will be able to work
in a range of local government and non-for-profit social and community service organisations, human services,
health agencies, community centres or  neighbourhood houses. This advanced skill level course develops an
individual’s professional, ethical and empathetic approach to working with people and families within communities. You explore the skills and knowledge to work as a team member, supervision of others, case management and coordination of a welfare and community development service.

Completion of this course can lead to employment across the community sector. Occupational roles may also include:
