Develop your knowledge and understanding of early childhood development. This course will
provide knowledge and skill development to develop and equip you in the provision of high quality
care and learning to children from infants to 12 years. Care encompasses providing for the intellectual,
social, emotional and physical needs of children within children’s services. Children’s Services can include
Long Day Care, Occasional Care, Out of Schools Hours Care, Family Day Care, Pre-school/Kindergartens.

Job Pathways
On completion of the Certificate III in Children’s Services graduates can pursue the many career opportunities in the Children Services sector. They may include:
• Family Day Care worker
• Day Care worker
• Child Care worker
• Outside School Hours Care Assistant
• Recreation Assistant
• Nanny
