Complex Case Support (CCS) is an initiative of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) that recognises that some recently arrived Humanitarian Refugees may experience specific short term difficulties that place themselves and their families at risk. If existing services provided under SGP and IHSS are insufficient to address these needs, local agencies may refer clients to DIAC and the needs of the family may be considered under CCS. DIAC may then refer the case to a selected provider (including Diversitat) that will develop a case plan proposal. The purpose of CCS is to provide targeted intervention to allow the family to return to normal functioning as soon as possible. |
