Diversitat provides free Financial Counseling as well as Consumer &Tenancy Advocacy to people living in Geelong and surrounding districts.

The services can assist with all sorts of issues including things like financial difficulties, complaints with products you have purchased or problems with a property you are renting.

These are free services offered to all people in Geelong with priority being given to those on low incomes and to those who are vulnerable, for whatever reason.

Pockets of Geelong are still feeling the effects of the global financial crisis with significantly high rates of unemployment and under employment. Over the last 12 months, we have provided services to more than 700 clients with 77% presenting with needs that require a more complex casework response.
