Community Partners Project

Training Resource for Aged Care and Ethnicities (TRACE) enables you to locate information online about aged care services.

The Community Partners Project aims to promote and facilitate increased and sustained access by culturally and linguistically diverse communities with significant aged care needs to federal aged care support services in the City of Greater Geelong and Borough of Queenscliffe.

Some of the activities of this project include:

  • • Consultations with local ethnic communities.
  • • Support and training regarding CALD issues to aged care providers.
  • • Information seminars for aged care providers.
  • • Information sessions for CALD communities.
  • • Developing a booklet of aged care services in the region which will be translated into 5 community languages
  • .Bimonthly "Bridging the Gap" meetings bringing aged care providers and members of cutlural communities together
  • • Developing information packages regarding needs of communities in the region.
