Driver Practice Mentors

To assist mature-aged refugees to gain the driving experience required to attain a probationary drivers licence. A 5-star safety rated car is provided and all learner drivers have been approved by a professional driving instructor to be supervised by a volunteer. 

GREAT Program

The Geelong Region Education and Assistance Team (GREAT) program is a volunteer based homework support program aimed at assisting school students from a refugee background with numeracy and literacy skill development.

New Arrival Supporters

To provide practical support and attend appointments with newly arrived refugees and migrants.

These volunteer roles require a time commitment of a few hours per week. Volunteers will be provided with training and will be required to undertake a Working with Children's Check and a Criminal Records Check.
