Coming in from the CALD on 94.7 The Pulse |
|
The Victorian Minister for Youth Affairs, Ryan Smith, announced the 10 community radio stations who are successful in the Victorian Government's first round of the 2012 Be Heard! Community Grants program. 94.7 the Pulse was one of the first stations to be chosen and the Minister also decided to announce the Grants program to the people of Victoria via the Pulse Tuesday Drive program with Gary Dalton and Sally Ferris.
The title of the Pulse project is Coming In From The CALD, a six month program to train and mentor youth from Culturally And Linguistically Diverse ( CALD ) communities in the Geelong Region, particularly newly emerging groups, in essential aspects of community broadcasting, empowering them and enabling the establishment of new Ethnic Youth radio program groups on 94.7 the Pulse.
