It's official, we have a hub! |
|
After more than 10 years of planning Diversitat opened the doors to its flagship Community Hub in North Geelong earlier this year and this month it will be officially opened by The Hon Simon Crean on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 with a gala program starting at 10.30 am. The Northern Community Hub is currently the base of AMEP and Settlement and Community Services Departments, offering a comprehensive range of services and programs for CALD communities accross Geelong. It is also consitently used by a number of Diversitat's 42 affiliated communities as a meeting place for functions.
The site of The Hub has a poignant connection with Diveritat's charter and is of special significant to Geelong's CALD communities as it was once the home of the British and Norlane Migrant Hostels.
You are warmly invited to attend the launch and take part in a tour of the Northern Community Hub facilities including its training rooms and community garden which will be followed by lunch contact Bridgette Carey on (03) 5221 6044 to RSVP. |
