Apprenticeships and Traineeships Training Program

What is a Traineeship?

A traineeship is a full-time or part-time job that combine work and on and off the job training.

Traineeships include:-

Paid employment combined with workplace training
Training and assessment delivered by a Registered Training Organisation
A nationally recognised qualification

During the course of a traineeship, a trainee gains work experience and has the opportunity to learn new skills in a hands-on environment. Traineeships are funded by the Victorian Government.

Why employ a trainee?

Traineeships produce a more productive worker who is familiar with your business and trained for your industry. Benefits include:

A better trained, more versatile and multi skilled worker
Flexible training arrangements
Industry support from an experienced industry specialist
Financial incentives from the government
$$$ savings on your Work cover premiums may apply

For further information about financial incentives available to your business, contact the National Apprenticeship Centre or our staff can organise an appointment for you.

What can you expect from the training?

Traineeships are ‘Competency Based’. This means the training is ‘hands-on’ and is structured to meet real work expectations in a real work setting. The Traineeship is comprised of flexible training, which can be delivered on-the-job, or off-the-job, or a combination of both.

We pride ourselves on customising our training materials to meet your company’s policies and procedures to ensure your staff are getting the appropriate training and, therefore resulting in a more professional and productive team.
Traineeships are flexible and offer a self paced way of learning for your trainee. The duration of the course will reflect your individual needs and circumstances.

To make the whole process even easier, we come to you. We visit you and your trainee and assist you with an appropriate training plan to suit all parties involved. It is important for us at Diversitat Training that all our Trainee’s and Employers are happy with our Service.
